Financial Assistance Scheme for One District One Product (ODOP Margin Money Scheme)
The objective of the scheme is to benefit
artisans/workers/entrepreneurs through financial incentives for the overall
development of selected products under One District One Product (ODOP). Under
the scheme, the facility of assistance in financing in industry, service and
business sector will be available only to the projects/units of ODOP product
identified for the concerned district.
Objective
- For units with total project cost above Rs. 25.00 lakh and up to Rs. 50.00 lakh, an amount of Rs. 6.25 lakh or 20% of the project cost, whichever is higher, shall be payable as margin money.
- For units with total project cost above Rs. 50.00 lakh and up to Rs. 150.00 lakh, an amount of Rs. 10.00 lakh or 10% of the project cost, whichever is higher, shall be payable as margin money.
- For units with total project cost exceeding Rs. 150.00 lakh, 10% of the project cost, subject to a maximum of Rs. 20.00 lakh, whichever is less, shall be payable as margin money.
- For units with total project cost up to Rs. 25.00 lakh under the scheme, 25 per cent of the total project cost subject to a maximum of Rs.6.25 lakh, whichever is less, shall be payable as margin money.
Eligibility

Only units producing the ODOP-identified product for their respective district are eligible.

The applicant must be at least 18 years old. There is no compulsion of educational qualification.

The applicant or entity is from any nationalized bank/financial institution/institution. There should not be a defaulter of Government institutions, etc.

Application is reviewed by respective authorities and verification is done.

The loan is approved and distributed by sending the applications of selected candidates to the bank.
