To promote export of garments, 25% to 75% reimbursement of freight cost of the container from unit to port, will be provided to new Garmenting units, for a period of 5 years as per table below. The units which are availing freight related incentives under the U.P. Export Promotion Policy, will not be eligible for the Freight Reimbursement under this policy. However, the units will be eligible for incentives under other relevant categories of U.P. Export Promotion Policy.
75% over the first two years, 50% over the subsequent two years, and the remaining 25% in the fifth year.
Participation of MSME delegations in international exhibitions, trade fairs, and buyer-seller meets in foreign countries:
(a) Space Rent (Stall Charges): Upto Rs. 3.00 lakh per MSME
(b) Air Fare: Upto Rs.1.50 lakh per MSME
(c) Duty allowance: USD150 per day for Office Bearer
(d) Freight charges: Upto Rs.50,000/-per MSME unit and Rs.75,000/-per MSME for Latin American Countries
(e) Advertisement and publicity charges: Upto Rs.5.00 lakh
The State of Uttar Pradesh is land locked, so to make the manufacturing competitive, a transport subsidy of 25% of the actual cost of transportation will be reimbursed. This cost of transportation will be from the place of manufacturing / production in Uttar Pradesh to the actual destination port of the importing country. This subsidy will not be available for export to Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan.
The rates of transport subsidy (airways/railways/roads/waterways) are determined as follows :- For exports by air or waterways transport subsidy of Rs.10 (Rupees ten) per kg or 25 per cent of the actual freight, whichever is less (including the transit cost of the product to the port).
For export by railway or road transport subsidy Rs. 05 (Rupees five) per kilogram or 25% of actual freight, whichever is less.
A maximum of Rs. 10 lakhs transport subsidy per year per exporter / firm shall be payable.
The said transport subsidy shall not be payable on meat and sugar exports.
This transport subsidy will be given after obtaining a certificate from the exporter to the effect that no such grant has been taken from any other source / department.
Subsidies:
(a) Transportation and logistics: Rs. 50 per order for B2C, Rs. 200 per order for B2B.
(b) Packaging material: Rs. 20 per order for B2C, Rs. 250 per order for B2B.
(c) Packaging design: 20% of design cost or Rs. 2,000 per MSE, whichever is less.
