Hastshilp Kaushal Vikas Training Scheme / (Training Scheme for Skill Development of Handicraftsmen)
This
scheme is operated in the handicraft dominated districts of the state. Under
this scheme, people in the age group of 18 to 35 years are eligible but there
is a provision of relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age for the persons
belonging to scheduled caste/tribe. Under the scheme, training is given for
skill upgradation of traditional craftsmen, in which the use of latest
technology and advanced type of tools and equipment’s are also taught.
Objective
- Trainees receive a stipend during the training period to support their livelihood. Training amount- Rs. 60,000/- per Training No. of trainees- 10 per training Training period- six months training
- Focuses on improving the technical skills of artisans in various handicrafts, ensuring they can produce high-quality products. Provides training on contemporary design trends to help artisans innovate and create marketable products.
- Soft Skills Training: Includes training in areas such as communication, marketing, and business management to help artisans better manage their enterprise
Eligibility

Applicants must have a valid Aadhaar card and other relevant identification document

The applicant must possess a PAHCHAN card, which is issued to artisans and craftsmen by the Development
